Paul Ochs and Vanessa Anaya were united in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony on December 10, 2016, at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cathedral, Tucson, Ariz., by Father Gonzalo Villegas.
Crystal Urbina, the bride's niece, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Ortiz, Rachel Anaya, the bride's niece, Sofia Jaureguiberry and Jennifer Hill. Piper Brozek, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
2nd Lt. David Ochs was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Captains Louis Bloom, Steven Parker, David Brumbaugh and Thomas Carter. The best man, groomsmen and Captain Matthew Keough formed the traditional saber arch in the cathedral courtyard.
Captain Ochs is the son of Thomas and Barbara Ochs of Greene Township. He is a 2008 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2012 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.
The bride is the daughter of Martha Anaya of Anthony, New Mexico and the late Jose Anaya. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in occupational therapy from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She is employed as an occupational therapist in Tucson.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the newlyweds reside in Tucson.
