Lisa Luebbe Stapleford and Paul Thomas Kocis were united in marriage on July 2, 2016, at the Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa., in an outdoor ceremony.
The bride wore a dress of embroidered lace in ivory and jade, and she carried a bouquet of ivory roses. She was escorted by her son, Benjamin Stapleford of Lemasters, Pa. Bridesmaids were Rebekah Luebbe of Chantilly, Va., niece of the bride; Sonu Iyer of Hopkinton, Mass., niece of the groom; Abigail Keller of Oreland, Pa., niece of the bride; and Pooja Iyer of Hopkinton, niece of the groom.
Best man was Airman First Class Justin Kocis of Annville, Pa., son of the groom. Groomsmen were Benjamin Stapleford, son of the bride; Daniel Stapleford of Lemasters, son of the bride; and Peter Stapleford of Lemasters, son of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of the late Rev. Paul Frank Luebbe and Mrs. Barbara Luebbe of Chambersburg, Pa. Mrs. Luebbe was escorted at the ceremony by her grandson, Peter Stapleford.
The groom, a Farrell native, is the son of the late Paul Vincent Kocis and Mrs. Virginia Kocis of Farrell. Mrs. Kocis was escorted at the ceremony by her grandson, Airman First Class Justin Kocis.
The Rev. Mark Ruzicka of Chambersburg officiated. Daniel Stapleford, son of the bride, offered a reading from 1 Corinthians 13. Mrs. Annette Thompson, aunt of the groom, presented a reading of the Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
Music for the ceremony was provided on classical guitar by William Krysiek, cousin of the groom, and Katherine French, friend of the groom.
The bride is a 1982 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, and has completed graduate studies in business administration at Fordham University in New York, N.Y. She is employed by Service Coordination Inc., Frederick, Md., as a resource coordinator for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The groom is a 1983 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage. He holds a doctor of pharmacy degree and a bachelor of science in pharmacy degree, both from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. He is employed by the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, as a clinical pharmacist in the anticoagulation clinic.
Following a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple resides in Hummelstown, Pa.
