Greg Lackey and Elizabeth Bell of Boulder, Colo., were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on Oct. 8, 2016, at the Timber Ridge Lodge in Confluence, Pa., a scenic small town in the Laurel Highlands. Peter Polesnak officiated the ceremony.
Following the wedding, a barn reception was held on site with music provided by the Pipe Dreams band.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Mary Jo Lackey, Hermitage, and Kerry and Judy Bell, Mount Pleasant, Pa.
Both the bride and groom earned their undergraduate degrees from Penn State University in environmental engineering. The bride completed her master's degree in environmental engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and is working as a water-treatment process engineer for the City of Thornton, Colo.
The groom is conducting graduate research in ground water modeling working toward his PhD in environmental engineering at the University of Colorado.
